A potter I know spends part of her year in Tuscany, and sends the most spectacular emails about the minutiae of her day. Because it is Tuscany, even fixing a leaking toilet seems like a rich and enviable experience. I started to realize that we have a greater appreciation for things foreign because we've stopped noticing the amazing things around us. So here it is. I'm noticing.

oh. mah. gahd.
We are having pancakes- not as nutritionally diverse as Studley's breakfast- but we clearly lack his flair.
did he eat all of it? it looks a little...yum...gross. at least he is self sufficient. my girls just follow me around whining or go hungry.
Cheeze Doodles? At Trout Towers??? I'm stunned! =) lol
Poppy - I know! Lucy asked if there was anything bad in them and I, checking the ingredients, couldn't find anything objectionable. I also couldn't find anything that qualified as food. Which makes them perfect.
That's fantastic. Salty and sweet! You have to figure... technically they're both dairy... I'm sure there's some partially hydrogenated real cheese product in the doodles.
Yikes. Except now I want cheese doodles! To go along with my lunch of mini Reeses peanut butter cups.
Hmmm... we have both.
I'll see how that goes over tomorrow.
Genius comes in all forms.
Breakfast of champions!

Did he actually eat it? Or just smoosh it all together and admire the contrasting colors?
You know, it looks a lot more disgusting than I expected. I swear, it didn't sound half bad to me.
I didn't notice the title of the post until I came back.
Guss I stole it for my comment!

Yeah, me too.
I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Studley is awesome.
